Hi Folks,
New to your board here. A friend gave me a link, and like a durn fool, I followed it. So, here I am.
I'm 52, live outside Somers, Montana, on Lion Mountain. I can see the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and the Great Bear Wilderness from the top of my property. Need to go over to the neighbors, to see Glacier National park.
I'm a moderator on the Cast Boolits board, http://castboolits.gunloads.com/index.php?
Baitshopboyz,http://www.baitshopboyz.com/forum/active_topics.asp?PN=1
and the Flathead Freetrappers private group.
I have been involved in shooting since grade school, along with trapping and archery. I've been in buckskinning for around 34 years.
I work for Serengeti Rifles.http://www.serengetirifles.com/
I was a professional museum restorationist and reproductionist for movies and collectors, for over 30 years, dealing with 19th century artifacts. http://www.geocities.com/waksupi1/UnNamed.html
I finally decided I needed a real job, so am now building rifles. I didn't just jump into it, I've been building guns for over 25 years.
Over the years, I have shot competition in BPCR, Cowboy action, PPC, muzzleloaders, shotgun, archery, probably a few things I don't remember right off.
Hmmmm..... pea shooters, sling shots, atlatls....
and a little hunting and fishing...http://www.geocities.com/ric_carter59932/?200530

Welcome aboard Ric. Thats a great resume, glad you migrated over. Your experience will be welcomed.

I've had a few conversations with TasunkaWitko. He and I are on the same page.

When I joined the Air Force, Malmstrom AFB was my first permanent duty station. Just loved it there. It launched my interest in hunting and fishing. I was a big city boy before that. Changed my whole life and way of thinking.

Again, welcome here and we, at least I, hope to hear a lot from you.

Best wishes.

Thanks for the greetings. I'm still working out a few bugs, on how to navigate the page, but am sure I'll get into the swing of things.

Oh, you're a BOARD virgin, not a BORED virgin. Got it! J/K

Welcome to HuntChat. I show up once in a while, and I really enjoy the site. Hope you do too.

I agree that your résumé is quite impressive. I'll look forward to your posts.
