I hope each and every one of you made the time to get out and make your mark. I see they had some new fangled electronic machines this year, even in my small township. At 4:00 I was voter 295.

I woke up this morning to hear that the NRA graded letter "F" Governer Rendell has been re-Elected in PA again. Not that I was expecting Swan to win, but I guess there's just too many people in Philly for us Western PA folks to out-vote. I believe Casey won against Santorum also for the Senate. Everyone else I voted for in my district was elected.

Here "Was" the list of NRA approved...see how they stacked up in your State

Absolutely! I voted, and I am happy to say that most of those I voted for got in. In Ohio, Sherrod Brown an NRA-rated D+ Democratic candidate, won election by defeating incumbent Republican Senator Mike DeWine, who was actually rated F. Hard to belive Brown is a slight upgrade, but I guess we'll take what we can.

Ted Strickland, a Democrat, will become our governor. He was rated A by the NRA. He's also famous for carrying John Kerry's goose after Kerry went goose hunting in Ohio during the 2004 presidential campaign.

Overall, not bad.

I was there waiting for them when the polls opened. We lucked out and kept our Governor, Pawlenty (R) who defeated a little loud mouth Mike Hatch (D).

I'm sorry to say that the other voters in my state of MN are sending a few more F's to Washington DC, and an A congressman Mark Kennedy lost his run for Senate.

Voted a straight Republican ticket but then what else would you expect from me.
Now I want the liberal democrats and the complicit media who have spent too much time trashing Bush and me, to stand up and lead.
Either that or get off the pot.

The other thing is and this I believe, the loss is also partly attributable to the lousy way that Republicans fight back when the liberals go on attack.

Achtung!
Heil Pelosi!!! Heil Pelosi!!! Heil Pelosi!!!

Sure did, absentee ballot works. Like Dan, in Michigan we won a few and lost a few, hard to pull and come out ahead with the majority of the state living in or near the motor city, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Yep, I voted. The Republicans got slaughtered in this race in Maryland. We have a democrat for our new governor, which isn't anything surprising. Now, I need to make sure I get my AR-15 and AR-10 before this legislative session comes around. The move into Virginia is starting to look better and better.

Havent missed an election since I turned 18. Sad day in our state. We sent an ultra liberal, Rated F by NRA, gun grabbin, tax raisin heartless ***** to the senate, courtesy of the inner cities of St Louis and KC. Enough said. Hope yall like her.

Also, the state that I grew up in and lived in all my life and have been so proud of did something yesterday that may have made my urges to move out west to the deserts and mountains become a reality. They voted to make it legal to make human life in a test tube, then kill it to rob cells and try to see if they can keep some old geezer alive thats been suckin off the govenment teat to begin with. And, not only did they pass the deplorable embryonic stem cell research, they voted to take any future decisions out of state hands and let the feds decide. And now, of course, the fed is led by the baby killin left.

I cant believe this is the same state. I would have never thought that would happen here. We went to AZ in August and looked at land and housing, just day dreaming. Were going back in December and Im taking a loan pre approval and 20k in cash with me. Does that sound like Im more serious?

This is a sad and sickening day.

Your right Fabs. Im buying a AR15 and a Barrett 50BMG in the next few weeks. I always wanted them, but figgered I would get them someday. Someday has come or it may be never. Im also continuing loading ammo. I have several thousand rounds loaded and stashed so when the door knock comes, I will still have guns and ammo.

Call me paranoid, but with Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein, McCaskill, Kennedy, Kerry and many other extremist lefties getting free reign, I dont think I am.

What really irks me is that they will spend time on the legislative floor debating these "assault weapon" bans, but where is the evidence that AR-15's and AR-10's have been used flagrantly to commit crimes? If anything, put a tax on them so that the gang banger cannot afford them. Heck, even at their current price, I don't think a gang banger would go out there to buy an AR-15 or AR-10.

Some of my liberal friends, after seeing what happened in New Orleans, have gone out and bought handguns. In a conversation with one of them, he responded that what would he be able to do with a handgun against an M-16, and I told him that if he was that worried about facing an M-16 with a handgun, he should just go out and buy an AR-15, which is as close as he could get to an M-16. I think he had the M-16 confused with the AR-15, but I didn't ask.

Me, I think every house in the US should have a gun in it. That would make criminals think twice about breaking into it. I have mixed feelings about every person on the street carrying a gun, because you would have drunks, etc. with guns in their hands and bar fights are bad enough as they are right now.

They wont spend much time on it Fabs. It will be voted quickly. Basically, look at the SF gun laws and get ready for it. It wont be quite as bad, most likely, but close enough. I dont think you can even own a handgun in SF, let alone an assult rifle. I got a buddy in Fresno, not even close to SF, and he wants one of those POS Ruger Ranch rifles that wont hit the broad side of a barn, because thats the only thing that resembles an assult style rifle that they are allowed to own by their fearless leaders.

Hope you dont shoot semi auto shotguns at those ducks, Fabs, your gonna have to hand those over too.

It is not about crime, guys. It's about disarming the populace in advance of forced socialism - period.

I hope those misguided idiots who voted Democrat to "teach the Republicans a lesson" are happy now that their noseless faces are spited.

If we just survive the next two years....

Two years is what is great about the entire thing. That is all any one party gets to screw things up. The tactics this session were insane. The name calling was insane too. The amount of money spent on these campaigns was insane too. This whole thing is insane, but I guess it is hard to find a better system.

Personally, I would like to see a dissertation by each candidate regarding their stance on the important issues and how they will work to boost the economy (e.g., tax cuts, job creation). All this name calling and BS to inlfuence people to vote is insane. Then again, most people wouldn't take the time to sit down and read the report given by the candidate, but I would.

Tax CUTS? Did you forget your meds Fabs? No cuts, I will bet money on that.

I hope they get their wish. Pull out of Iraq, let it be a breeding ground for terrorism. Let em get over here and lets fight it out in the streets. Im ready. Lets see if the blue bloods can stomach it.

Let em raise taxs. That will put an immediate halt to spending and the economy will tank. See how that works out for them.

Bring it on lefties. Im ready.

Yep Rocky, my words exactly. I wasn't happy with who was against Randell here in Pa but I still can say I didn't help him get elected. I think it was a plan to have a non politician run against him in the first place in order to help his odds. Randell still hasn't gone anywhere with the property tax cuts he spoke of in his first gov running...only worried about casinos and making the auto emissions testing harder to pass..now that is an issue I can't let lay since I am from Beaver County and have to pay the extra $50 for the sticker while everyone around me don't...unfair..time to get working on that..along with stocking up on the ammo..
Remember back in prior posts talking about how Hitler got elected after loosing elections in the first running. He got enough followers to fill the smaller positions then had enough electoral votes to get him in...Look out...here comes Hitler Clinton in the future.....at least we did get some changes in gov offices...now to see how that works...had to make some kind of changes.

Tax Cuts????

That's hilarious!

2 weeks ago, Nancy Paleo-loser was promising in her first 100 days as majority leader, the repeal of tax cuts inacted by the current administration.

The only tax cuts we can expect to see now will be for those that need help with their "clean needle" purchases or "fag-marriage" tax credits, or tax credits for abortion.

You must now remember, the 3rd in line for the Presidency is that sweet grandmother from San Francisco.
