Since I have been following this topic in the Ladies forum and Skeet broke his camera, I'll get it started. This should be fun, or maybe that should be funny.

I'll start with hunting-wear:

fabsroman

Next, formal wear

fabsroman

Last but not least, about as swim-wear as I get (i.e., I hate swimming):

Fabs, you and your friends sure do dress nicer than my friends & I do when we have a drink. We're usually cleaning birds in our hunting outfits.

This is getting fun already and it hasn't even been up for half a day yet.

MT,

That's no fair going with the "cute" picture. Since I only have a daughter on the way in 4 months, I can't post any of those pics yet, but I do have some dog pics that might meet the "cute" category. See, initially I thought I would go with a theme like they do in the beauty pageants (i.e., formal wear dress, swim suit, and casual wear). Okay, here is my "cute" entry. Best I could do on short notice.

Buckhunter,

It's nice to see you posting. Hope you have a great holiday season.

Nitro is a lot better looking than me. I just figured I would have some fun with this thread since shotgunning, waterfowling, and hunting dogs have been a little slow lately.

I protest, I think there ought to be a senior division. How in the heck is old dudes like me and Sonny supposed to win. This is like Britney being compared against Gina Lolobrigida.

Sides that Sonny and me can cook better than those young pups. :p

P.S. I'd take Gina. She still looks finer than frog fur. I don't care if she is 78.;)

He has been bugging the hell out of me for several years about going out west to do some pheasant hunting, but we have never gotten around to it. Fabs:
If I get to go this coming Fall, I don't see that as a problem. It kind of sounds like I may be in a custody battle for my grandaughter, and I don't have a clue what that will cost me. But what ever it is it'll be worth it.
Keep in touch about it.

Sorry Lilred didn't mean to mess up your thread.

fabsroman
12-28-2006, 10:49 PM
GSP,

Sorry to hear about the custody issue. Exactly what it will cost depends on how much the other party can spend. That is what is sick about our legal system. The person with the most money usually wins. I hope everything works out for you.

Skeet,

That must have been about 3 years ago when we went chuck hunting with Petey and the gang, and if I'm not mistaken, it was you telling the waitress that I liked that stuff. Going to dinner with you can be pretty exciting, to say the least. Since I was already dating my wife at the time, I can assure you that nothing happened between that waitress and I. Now, exactly what the two of you did after leaving the restaurant, you and she will only know.

Rocky Raab

Rattus, I caught quite a few jacks and that fish looks to be far too blocky and deep in the body to be a jack. Unless they are a whole lot different in the Pacific than the Atlantic.

rattus58

Actually I guess you're right... you'd have to be a fisherman like my dad to understand all the differences... I do know NOW that there are specific's to the ulua family here in hawaii.... for which I guess the omilu is the most commonly caught. My brother in law actually gaffed an over 100 pounder that was black, as it swam lazily past the the boats in Wailoa River. There still is an argument about whether that was a black ulua or a white ulua, since it was so big, but it was not like yours, which seems longer like the whites, but a very steep blocky body that was really thick and deep.

I guess that the African Models were brought here..... neva mind.... :D :D Pompano... kagami ulua.... well I cannot tell the difference and till I just axed someone about got an education on it... don't make me no fisherman yet tho... so... I DO STAND CORRECTED... an African Fish wit a Japanese name.

I was also formally corrected as to its name... it trevally...

Nice fish... I've speared small papio but never anything like your fish.... Beautiful...

When I saw that you had posted on this thread, I thought it was something to do with the pink underwear, seeing as how excited you were by those waitresses at the diner. Then I remembered that the pink underwear post was in the other "sexiest" thread. LOL

Hope you are having a great time out west. It finally started to get cold here and we got a smidge of snow over the weekend. Since I can't go bicycle riding, I might as well go hunting now. Oh yeah, forgot that tax season is here and my "refund" clients want their returns finished yesterday.

fabsroman
01-24-2007, 03:07 PM
I have actually been looking at the Denali and the Suburban because my future brother in-law can get me employee pricing on GM vehicles. While I love Ford, I am not willing to spend thousands of dollars more on them. I might just see if he can get me a good deal on a Corvette. I might not live to drive it because my wife would kill me, but just getting a glimpse of it might be enough.

skeet
01-24-2007, 05:38 PM
Yeah Fabs.. A Corvette. Just what ya need. You trying to make more points with the gals here or What??

Fabs I like it out here. The only thing I miss is my friends...and all the traffic...and all the people. I might even sell the other small farm I have back there. They raised the D**n taxes on it again. 700 bucks+ and not even a house on it! Not that many acres either. Getting ready to have a pond put on the place in a low spot. If it gets water in it soon. It'll about double the value.

Now stop the politicking for the sexy title. Ya maight actually win by default anyway.:D

fabsroman
01-24-2007, 06:30 PM
Believe it or not, I haven't really been trying to politic for the title for quite a while. I gave it a good shot at the beginning, but after that I have just been having fun with this thread.

You wanna talk about taxes being raised? All I know is that they raised the assessed value of my place by $150,000. That will translate into a higher property tax bill. It just utterly kills me. In about a year, my wife and I are going to have to make a decision regarding a potential move. She might be offered a job in Annapolis, so we would have to move out there.

By the way, what is the acreage of the other farm you are thinking about selling? I might actually be able to afford that since it doesn't have a house or two on it. PM me with the details if you are seriously thinking about selling it.
