ive always wanted to hunt alaska when i hit adulthood,is it legal if you have a hunting licence and game permits to fly to a spot in the miles of un exslpored woods and hunt moose or deer like that,or would you have to get a guide and special permission from the government and all that crap to hunt alaska,this is important so please anwser

AS A NON RESIDENT YOU WOULD NEED A GUIDE FOR BROWN BEAR OR GRIZZLY, DALL SHEEP OR MTN. GOAT. EVERYTHING ELSE YOU CAN HUNT WITH OUT A GUIDE. SOME AREA REQUIRE A DRAWING PERMIT AND SOME ARE HARD TO COME BY, ie BISON. ALSO YOU WOULD NEED TO DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO HUNT THEN RESEARCH TO DECIDE ON AN AREA. MANY AREAS ARE VOID OF GAME AND ALASKA IS ABOUT 2.5 TIMES THE SIZE OF TEXAS. SOME AIR SERVICES WILL NOT DROP YOU OFF BY YOURSELF.
HUNTING LICENSE IS $85 BUT THEN YOU NEED A TAG FOR THE SPECIES YOU WANT TO HUNT. ( MOOSE -$400; CARIBOU $325 BLACK BEAR-$225; AND DEER $150) SAVE YOUR MONEY AS NONE OF IT IS CHEAP AND QUALITY GEAR IS A MUST AND YOU NEED TO BE AN EXPERIENCED HUNTER TO GO OUT AND DO THIS SAFELY.

I'd suggest looking into either a caribou drop camp hunt, or a deer hunt on Kodiak. I don't know much about the deer hunts on Kodiak, but I have done an unguided caribou drop camp.

I'd suggest everyone hunt Alaska at least once in their life. A few observations from my experience. First, find the air service you want to use. Be aware, you may have to pay a charter flight to even get to your air taxi. Don't expect to be all alone, we were 200 miles from Anchorage and saw several planes a day and more than one other group of hunters on the ground. If it was easy for your air taxi to drop you off, it will be easy for others to do the same.

There aren't moose behind every tree, and you likely won't be overrun with migrating caribou. You do have to hunt for them, but that's what you want.

Even if you do everything yourself, start saving now. To do a self guided caribou drop camp, from your door to back home again, will run around $4,000.

Bears shouldn't be much of a problem, if you're careful. You do need to prepare for the weather and have the proper clothing (wool & good rain gear, proper boots, a very good tent and reliable fire starting equipment).

I don't mean to sound like I'm trying to discourage you, I just wanted you to know some facts early in your planning stages. Your first step should be to find a reliable partner with a good mind set & temperment.

ok, so most like id just try to hunt black bear or deer, and wouldnt be too complicated to do if i had 5 grand ,or would it

you should be able to do that easily on prince of wales island to get both DIY. .....guided might be tough for total cost of that with transportation
you would not need a guide and POW HAS ALOT OF U.S. Forest service cabins that can be rented. nice big bears and big deer there. could be done in parts of prince william sound but critters are not as big esp deer.....forest service cabins in some areas there. fall deer hunts put bears on salmon streams and more visable.
