My ancesters came from Wales which is where the long bow got its start. I was interested in finding a good long bow. Does anyone have someone they know who sells them or suggestions for a good brand?

Thank you, TJ

might check out black widow bows.

Friend has a take down recurve he hunts deer with and is a very happy camper. I am almost sure they make longbows also.

His has his name on it also. He got the ironwood model which i have a walking stick made of and let me tell you Ironwood is like the name implies.

These are not cheap bows. Knowing my friend they are quite expensive as his deer hunting rig is a BMW.

I think they make the martin line of recurves. maybe martin has a longbow also.

I hunt with an old PSE takedown recurve and love it. A few of the main bow manufacturers make longbows. Black Widows are a fantastic bow. There are also many handmade customs available too. Punch it in on a search. It's all a matter of money...
