For all you folks in Virginia....Surprise. Some skunk reporter from the Roanoke Times has published an expose on all the Concealed Carry Permit holders in the state.
I hope the A$$#*%$ gets run over by an 18 wheeler. What a puke.
Turn about being fair play his address is:Christian J. Trejbal
675 School LN.
Christainsburg,Va.24073
I found about this on the Ruger Forum. personally I don't care if anyone knows I carry. But what it does do is label your home as having a gun in it and subject you to be burgeled.

Billy...I forwarded the idiot writers address to a few of my acquaintances back east. They are somewhat (very) annoyed. Think they are posting this guys address all over the net back there. Hope he likes it.

As information, this list was taken down monday afternoon. I live in Roanoke, and this guy writes for a small paper called the New River Current ( picturesqe name for an anti gun leaning paper, right) in Christiansburg. Christiansburg is a smaller town near Roanoke. You can imagine my shock at seeing this thread on here. After tracing the links down and reading the article in question, I attempted to contact the publisher of the Roanoke times, of which The Current is an affiliate, but was unsuccessful, and left a voicemail. I then contacted the Times outdoor writer, Mark Taylor, who was not pleased, said he was posting something to his blog about it and suggested I contact Mr. Trejbals editor, Mr. Stan Radmacher. I said that I would and thanked Mr. Taylor for his support. I had to leave for work then, but jotted down the numbers of the larger local gun shops and called them to make them aware of the article. All were incensed to say the least. I also contacted several of my hunting and shooting friends to make them aware. I am sure I was not the only one to make this kind of effort. A state gun rights advocacy organization called the Virginia Citizens Defense League was also evidently quite influential in the removal of this list from the website. I was aware of this group but not a member, a situation soon to change.

As further info, this thing has really blown up around here. I read in wednesdays paper that the guy has been recieving threats, and the newspaper had posted a guard at his house. He also recieved a suspicious package delivery, the bomb squad was called, , it turned out to be a box of address labels and cardboard mailers. The newspaper has announced that the list will not be reposted, and a local senator has begun exploring legislation to exempt this info from FOI act requests.

This guy seems like he's realy out to not only tic off the residents of the community, but to blaintently criticise his local, state, fed gov also. I feel he just wants publicaty, and doesnt care if its fame or imphany. Thats just the impresion I get.
I wonder why the paper hired a guard to protect him? I hope that the guard is unarmed.... just to spare his feelings ofcorse. I myself couldnt get payed enough to babysit him.
The newspaper has announced that the list will not be reposted, and a local senator has begun exploring legislation to exempt this info from FOI act requests. That would be great! I wish the senitor (whoever he/she is) the best.
