used 32 Win. Specials

Have any of you ever seen a 32 Win. Special on a used gun rack? I have only seen one. Seems to me that people that have them don't want to give them up.

I see them occasionally, but not very often. They're usually a good bit more than an equivalent .30-30. One of these days I'll have the cash in hand and come across a decent one.

I agree that the folks that have them don't part with them. They must figure that since the .32 has been putting meat on the table for over 100 years ain't no sense in fixing what ain't broke.;)

i had a marlin 32 special which i sold and i probably should have hun g ont it for a couple more years.

I was in a local gun shop and saw one in excellent condition on the used gun rack. I haggled with the shop owner and got it for $250.00. It was made in 1954. Have not seen any since. All the best...

I picked up a 1946 M94 flatband in .32WS for $400. The rifle was 99 percent mint. :D

Mine is never going to the used gun rack....at least not while I have anything to say about it. 1955 Winchester Model 64 (similar to the 94 but with pistol grip, longer barrel and 3/4 magazine tube) my father bought just before I was born. We shot elk with it for many years....before they got "bulletproof".

SKB. I have two M64s, although they're in 30 WCF. (30-30) One is a Deluxe model, about 80 percent made in 1938. The other is a standard model, no checkering or sling swiels, made in 1951 that is about 98 to 99 percent.
My thoughts are the M64 is what the m94 dhould have been. :D :cool:

Mine is the standard model w/o the sling gear and checkering. Great rifle and I always thought it had alot more tyle than the 94. This one wore a 'slip on recoil pad' for so many years it stained the stock but otherwise is probably in 70%. My father and myself are big guys and the pad was for added length of pull.
