Need a movie critique

O.k., it's more like a video, but I still could use some opinions on it. We recently made a short video about the Gunslinger and just put it up on the site. I think it does a good job of explaining our product and showing what it does, but I've watched the thing about a million times by now.

I'd love to get some opinions on it. If anyone has a minute and could stop by and take a look I'd really appreciate it.

Seemed professional and did answer a few questions I had about the gunslinger itself. Just wanted y'all to know you will be hearing from MY Attorney as I feel you have infringed on my design patent of 1999!! MY Attorney is Mr Fabrizio Roman and a NEW father and I am certain he will need MORE money. I'm sure y'all can make a good deal with him!!

Actually kiddo the product seems to be straight forward and is necessary for most hunters in the eastern woods. I did this type of thing in the past with parachute cord and it worked perfectly even if not as professional looking. Hope y'all can sell a ton of 'em. Skeet

I do think safety is a very important aspect in hunting, you have all ages and all levels of physical ability, and all types of terrain to cover as well as hunting stands. Well GSG, I watched the video, well done. The only thing that came to my mind is that as far as I can tell, you'd first have to climb your stand without your weapon to hook up the top clip, then back down to hook the weapon up to it, then climb back up and pull up the weapon. Now, we all know that's what should be done, but in reality I'm not sure everybody is going to do that. Let me say that using the Gunslinger would not only be safer, but would save any mishaps like falling weapons. I'll also say that hunters should NOT have their weapon loaded when climbing or pulling up weapons, whether they are rifle, shotgun, bow, or spear!!

I'm not new to hunting stands, and the straight up ones are the most difficult. I use a sling, but with the weapon under my front, i.e., basically backwards from what is done in the states where it is slung over your back. This way I can keep both hands free to hold the ladder and there's no way the weapon can get loose. You can hug it with your arm while still using your hands. This is critical at night or after snow or ice storms make slippery steps.

I like your site -- when I clicked on Jay's and searched for gunslinger it didn't come up, they must not have it loaded. Also, I see you have the Euro price available, neat. I'll have to check out your site some more, good job, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

First of all, thank you to everyone for the feedback. It is definitely appreciated.

Dom makes a good point about the fact that you have to go up and hook up the Gunslinger, then go down and hook up the gun and then climb back up. Obviously we can't guarantee every hunter who uses the product will do this, but it is the recommended method for using a Gunslinger. It is a safety product, so we want everyone to be safe when they use it.

As for Jay's, they had a small sample of the product as a test, and are meant to be ordering more. They had it in the retail stores, which may be why it hasn't made it to the web site yet. If anyone does want to purchase a Gunslinger online, you're certainly welcome to buy from our site, or I know Petey is also offering them in the Hunt Chat store. Not that I'm hinting or anything. :D

Nice...we just attatch the rope to stand when puttin against tree...ladder stands that is.....the climbers have rope attatched anyhow....so goes up with you....no need to go up / down/ up/ down...whew...I'm gettin dizzy already...but nice....go get em.

I know a lot of people use a rope, but the Gunslinger provides security that a rope can't. Once you get the gun to the stand, a rope is useless. The Gunslinger secures the gun while you hunt, so if it falls, it can be easily retrieved, and will fall barrel down, so if it does accidentally discharge, it shoots the ground and not you.

I'm betting, as more people use the Gunslinger, we'll put that piece of rope right out of business. :D
