I am limited to about 50 yards when sighting in and was wondering where i should be on the paper above center to get a human kill for the following calibers out to about 150-200 yards.
223 and 30-06 also on a 50 cal muzzleloader shooting 100 grains and a 250 bullet I wont be shooting past 100 yards on that one.
Well, I'm hoping you mean humane kill . . . you had me going there for a minute.
Short answer on 30-06: 1 to 1.5" point of impact above sight @ 50 yards will give you humane kills out to 200, if you do your part and get it in the boiler room.
There's a few variables here, if you're looking for ballpark, I'd just check a ballistics table, one at link below and what they list for a 180 gr '06:
Remington Ballistics (http://www.remington.com/products/ammunition/ballistics/results/default.aspx?type=centerfire&cal=30)
Cartridge Type .......................50 .. 100 ... 150 ... 200
Premier® A-Frame 180 ............0.0 . zero .. -1.3 .. -4.2
But, it's always a good idea to do some shooting at 100 yards also, as well as practice from different shooting positions to improve ability, competence, and confidence!! Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Dom,
The spelling caught my attention as well:eek: ! I've been known to be a little weak on occasion. The difference one little "e" can make. Thanks for the followup mrmiskin.
