This is my girlfriend Tracy, we've been together for about 6 months. She's obviously a very patient person...

Yeah, I think she's cute too, I kinda like her. She's a sweetheart and supportive of my hunting and fishing.

No Bill I'm sorry to say, she doesn't have any sisters. She has some single older friends that are nice looking.

I must say my wife is also VERY supportive, good thing I guess, for me. But I treat her well. Here she is getting her Jaegerschlag, or Knighthood as Huntress, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Here is a picture of the two of us on our honeymoon at dinner at Emeril's steakhouse, Delmonico, in Las Vegas. I must say that is one of the best steak places I have been to. I didn't like the appetizer that we ordered, but the steak and the desert definitely made up for it.

My wife puts up with my hunting, shooting, fishing, and cycling, and all the money that goes into all of them. Best of all, she puts up with me pretty well.

I got a good one. She doesn't hunt, but supports me fully.

I do get her fishing a few times a year. She grew up on a farm but prefers venison to beef or pork. Gotta like that.

Fabs how did you like the Grand Canyon? I have always wanted to go and have finally talked the family into it. Looks great from the photos.

Like my best friend told me, there are no words and no pictures that can do the Grand Canyon justice. Simply put, it is awesome. I wish we could have done a bike ride or something down to the river, but that just wasn't in the cards on our honeymoon. The change of pace from the crowds and heat in Vegas was also pretty nice. I actually got pulled over by an Arizona State Trooper right as I got off the highway and he was nice enough to let me off with a warning. I was wearing my typical Ducks Unlimited cap and shirt, and he asked me to step out of the car. We went back to his car and started talking and he warned me about all the elk around that could cause some serious problems in a high speed crash. Then, he asked me if I was a member of DU and if it was because I liked taking pictures of ducks or shooting them. I answered that it was a little of both. That I waterfowl hunted a decent amount and that I took pictures of waterfowl whenever I got the chance like at the casino with the Volcano, which I think is the Mirage. He then proceeded to tell me that he had a pet duck that was the result of hunters that had wounded it. Man, did I think I was getting a ticket for sure, but he let me off with a warning.

To answer your question, you need to go to the Grand Canyon to appreciate it. I am going to try and get my parents out there in the next year or two, and I think it is a great family vacation. Who knows, maybe I'll mix the Canyon trip with a hunting trip out west, if I should only be so lucky.

Fabs, you should have grilled him for illegal possession of a live Migratory Bird under the Federal Migratory Bird Act! I'm sure he would have understood your concern. :D

What I did want to note was that you fellas need to pat them girls on the back fer puttin up with all ya'll...I pat hubby on the back all the time...let me tell ya...that avatar I got is there fer a reason! :rolleyes: That poor man tangles with Yosemite Sam on a daily basis.
