This is a link to a pretty graphic crime that happened in February but I live in Tennessee and had not heard about it until yesterday. Some of you may have already but the question is Where are Jesse Jackass and Al Not to Sharpton

The animals pictured car-jacked, then raped Christopher Newsom, cut off his penis, then
set him on fire and fatally shot him several times while they forced his
girlfriend, Channon Christian, to watch. An even more cruel fate awaited her!









Channon Christian, was beaten and gang-raped in many ways for four days by all of them,
while they took turns urinating on her. Then they cut off her breast and
put chemicals in her mouth ... and then murdered her.

Dozens of New Charges in Double Murder Case Announced

Knoxville (WVLT) - The
District Attorney General of KnoxCounty announced the list of charges facing now five suspects in the double murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.

The District Attorney General Randy Nichols is not saying whether or not he will seek the death penalty, but he does say the State will seek conviction for all charges filed in a 24-page indictment from the Knox County Grand Jury.

Lemaricus Davidson, 25, faces a total of 46 charges.
Davidson was indicted on 16 counts of Felony Murder growing out of rape, robbery kidnapping and theft of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom, 2 counts premeditated murder of Christian and Newsom, 2 counts especially aggravated robberies from Christian and Newsom, 4 counts especially aggravated kidnapping of Christian and Newsom, 20 counts aggravated rape of Christian and Newsom, and 2 counts of theft from Christian and Newsom.

Letalvis Cobbins, 24, faces a total of 46 charges.

Cobbins was indicted on 16 counts of Felony Murder growing out of rape,robbery kidnapping and theft of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom, 2 counts premeditated murder of Christian and Newsom, 2 counts especially aggravated robberies from Christian and Newsom, 4 counts
especially aggravated k! idnappi ng of Christian and Newsom, 20 counts aggravated rape of Christian and Newsom, and 2 counts of theft from Christian and Newsom.

George Thomas, 24, faces a total of 46 charges.
Thomas was indicted on 16 counts of Felony Murder growing out of rape, robbery kidnapping and theft of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom, 2 counts premeditated murder of Christian and Newsom, 2 counts especially aggravated robberies from Christian and Newsom, 4 counts especially aggravated kidnapping of Christian and Newsom, 20 counts aggravated rape of Christian and Newsom, and 2 counts of theft from Christian and Newsom.

Just last night, police in Lebanon, Kentucky, arrested 18-year-old Vanessa Coleman. She faces 40 Tennessee state charges. Coleman was indicted on 12 counts Felony Murder growing out
of rape, robbery kidnapping and theft of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom, 1 count Premeditated Murder of Christian only, 1 count Especially Aggravated Robbery of Newsom only, 4 counts especially aggravated kidnapping of Christian and Newsom, 20 counts of aggravated rape of Christian and Newsom and 2 Counts of theft from Christian and Newsom.

Eric Boyd, 24, also arrested in connection with the fatal carjacking, only faces federal charges as an accessory after the fact. He was not indicted by Knox county grand jury.

Felony Murder carries a possibility of death, life without the possibility of parole and life with parole. Especially Aggravated Robbery is a Class A felony that carries a possibility of 15 to 60 years in prison. Aggravated Rape is a Class A felony that carries a possibility of 15 to 60 years of prison.

At a news conference Thursday, Nichols commended the cooperative efforts between several departments and credits that cooperation for the fast pace this case is moving through the court system.

Nichols says he hopes to move the case to trial on thefirst day it's set.

The four are expected to make their first court appearance within ten to fifteen days. This is certainly a case garnering a lot of public interest, Nichols recognizes that and says he expects all kinds of requests filed in this case, including a change of venue in order to receive a fair trial. But he says he does hope 12 Knox County jurors will be able to determine the guilt or innocence of these suspects.

Where be the Revs Al and Jesse? Are they providing counsel and help to the families of the victims?

Why hasn't this received National coverage by the news media like the Duke "rape" case?

So, if a white news radio jock uses the phrase "Nappy headed", it gets 2 weeks of constant news coverage.

If two white people are tortured, raped, and murdered by a group of black people, it barely gets a blip in the news.

My God, that is awful. What I cannot believe is that they are debating whether or not to ask for the death sentence. These people tortured their victims, and I mean TORTURED, and we aren't going for the death sentence. There is something seriously wrong about this. I am getting sick just thinking about this.

By the way, this thread is the first I have heard about this. I cannot believe that a story this gruesome didn't make the national news and show up on Yahoo and AOL news. Again, I am getting sick thinking about it.

I also take exception to Snopes' rationale for this not being covered in the news. Yes, murders are a dime a dozen nowadays, but most murders do not involve torture on this level. Most murders are not this gruesome. The Loraina Bobbett matter got national attention and that was merely the severing of a penis. Here, we had the severing of a penis and much more indeed. Again, utterly sickening. Good thing I ate dinner before I read this.

You know what your problem is Fabs? Your a human being with a sence of right and wrong, who has feelings and thinks of his fellow man. You are above basic animal instincts. A good person. Not bad traits at all, unless you are trying to understand why something like this happens, or even why someone would even want to do something like this. And then, well, you are clueless. But don't ask me, I have no idea either. Maybe the devil is alive and well within their hearts, I don't know. But do people like this, capable of doing this type thing, even have hearts and souls?

I read this first thing this morning, and it has haunted me all day. And I'm afraid it will most of the night, and for a while. Until something, someplace, even more hideous happens. Until then, all we can do is pray for the victims and their families.

It is amazing how things change once you become a parent. I can only think about something like this happening to my daughter. If the guilty ones didn't get the death sentence, I would be up in arms. If the State's Attorney said he was debating whether or not to ask for the death penalty, I would be up in arms. If a jury of any 12 people in the entire nation didn't think these people deserved the death sentence, I would be up in arms. I still cannot believe that this didn't make the national news.

Fabs, You know as well as I do that the system will probably plead this out and they'll rat on each other trying to mess up all the evidence and they'll get life with a get out of jail card in 10. Truthfully though..if it was my daughter or son...700yds or less man. Even if they gave me death.. for as many of 'em as I could. Hate to say it but there is NO real justice anymore:mad: And why can't there be a hate crime when it is black on white crime?

Exactly correct no matter what color these " people" do not fall into that cataroey. Now we can all hear about a society that drove them to commit this crime. I hope the trials get a little more press coverage than the crime did.

While the whole "Black -on- White crime not being reported anywhere" thing is horrible, To Me.. It's what these animals DID that is truly abhorrent.

People have often asked me Why I own guns, Carry guns, and teach my two children (and others) about the importance of gun ownership. I can always count on there being at least a few cases like this one every few years, to point out to the "Sheep", just how right my stance is.

I too couldn't imagine how I'd react if the victims were any of my kids.....Let's just say..I'm sure I'd not be a free man right now.
