Can the Clays INternational be used for pistol reloads?
I have used clays but I have never used the International.
I have a pound and don't know what to do with it.
It came with some other powders I aquired. It is unopened and the seal is still intact.

Hodgdon doesn't promote it that way (very much unlike the way they promote Clays and Universal) but it is usable.
It's a titch slower than Clays, and a bit faster than W231. It's close to TiteGroup, so start out with START loads using TiteGroup data and be cautious when going up. Because it's primarily a shotgun powder, it'll probably burn best at lower pressure levels, so don't try to push it much. For target-level loads, it should work out fine for you.

I loaded 100 rounds
3.8
124 FMJ
took them to the range with my glock 17
I was very pleased with the results.
I think I will use the whole pound up this way.
