Ok, I know this isn't about hunting but is my hunting camp fridge so to say....I find answers to everything else here on HC and figure will take a stab at someone knowing about dometic S620.013 rv refrigerators.....mine will cool on gas mode but when left on ac it will work for a day or so....then quit ....be off for few days...temp inside it will get like 80*....then out of nowhere it will come back on and cool....now the heat element is fine...the 12v battery is new.(know this is important to turn over to 110)...any suggestions would help...I been on the web searching and at rv garages too......I use it on 110 at camp so need to get er fixed....

Sounds like it might be moisture in the system.

After while, it freezes and blocks the tube. When it sits for a while, it thaws, and works until moisture accumulates enough to block it again.

I thought the moisture got seperated along the way but if it is the cause of the problem....how do I get rid of it?.....thanks for reply.

Skeeter I'll find out for you tomorrow. I'm the service manager for an RV manufacturer and will have the Norcold service tech at the shop in the morning. If he doesn't know the Dometic plant is only 10 miles down the road I'll give them a call. Indy

Skeeter, sorry it took so long, been one of them weeks. Anyway I spoke with my guy and without even hesitating he said that its the thermister, freeze sensor, he claims they were known for that problem. Hope that helps ya.

Hey I sure do appreciate the information and the time you spent helping me out...the thermistor is what I been thinking about changing and this makes me happy to hear..the thermistor is the last of the 'cheapest' things I can try....it is about $15 or $20....then if it wasn't that I was looking at the control board at $100...and if not that the main power board at another hundred....but before I want that route I probably would of just got a regular fridge from lowes and replaced it...that would cost about $200 as apposed to the rv replacement at a grand...so anyhow....thanks....I will change the thermistor....easy fix too....let ya know what happens...
