Hi Everyone,...
I am interested in buying a new shotgun.
Its an older gun,BRAND NEW in the box
But before I get it I was wondering what its worth first.
Heres the specs on it.......
BROWNING BPS 12 GA.
3 1/2 " MAGNUM FIELD BARREL w/ 3 choke tubes, & manual.
The barrel is an INVECTOR PLUS 12ga.- 2 2/4 " - 3" and 3 1/2 FIELD 28" and it is vented rib.
The side of the shotgun has Pheasants on it and the forearm is checkered and the butt is checkered around the neck.
I know most of you are wondering what the seller is asking for it,..but it is all trade. And before I get rid of anything I want to make sure it is worth it.So I could really use the help, dont want to get burned.I do know Browning has some nice guns,..but just gotta know fer sure.
Thank You ALL
The photos below are of the gun.

Wolvie,
Don't know what you plan on trade, but I'm guessing about $400.00 and that may be on the high side. It is not a collector so the fact that it's still in the box really doesn't add a whole lot of weight to the price. Keep in mind that it is still a pump gun and not that hard to come by. just my 2 cents.

OKAY,...
I won a Mini fridge from Pepsi,..and I have a sound system (home theater system),and a MP3 compatible Shelf stereo,..plus $100 for the trade.
So if the gun is roughly worth $400 ,then I am doing good so far.
Seeing how I only wanted $100 for the mini fridge and I have nothing in it.
And $50 for the surround sound system that has no rca cables, and I have only $15 in it.
And $75 for the Shelf Stereo that I only have $50 in it.
Plus the $100 cash I have for boot.
That`s a total of :$325 from me to the seller.
I was hoping the gun was worth more for trading at the swappers day event this weekend.
I may have to drop an item from my list of barter.
Please if anyone knows for sure what the gun may really be worth I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks All

I think gspsonny03 is correct. Was there any reference as to a "Grade" like Stalker, Upland Special, Turkey, etc.? You might want to post this in "Scatterguns."

OK, get on www.auctionarms.com do a search on the particular gun. Check asking price v/s any bids.......to me, if I wanted one, $300....course, I'm cheap!

Gunsamaerica has one listed for $436, the stalker models for closer to 600. I just traded one in without the engraving that was 18 years old, but in like new condition, and the dealer plans to retail that one for about 500. So, for $325 in "stuff", you're coming out ahead.
The fact that it comes with the three choke tubes is a huge plus.

You will like that BPS. Bottom eject. safety that works even left or right handed, Browning shotgun. You can get 400 out of it to a left handed shooter in the future if you can get yourslf to part with it.
Browning add on barrels are expensive.

The gun was made in 2003 and it has 121 at the end meaning it could be a Camo, hunter,Stalker and game in all gauges.
At least that is waht I make of the date table they provide. And the info they give for that number.
