Hello All,...

Well I made it to another Swappers Day event in Johnstown Ohio,
And Fellers and Gals I did decent again this year.

I got rid of my Browning BPS 12ga about 10 minutes after walking into the place.
# guys walked up and asked "Whats in the Box"?
I replied with a Brand New Browning BPS 12 ga.,..of course they asked how much for it,..and I told them My high price of $400.00.

A guy running a table saw me with it and said he would like to see it,..So I abliged and opened the box,..His eyes got wide and he said "How much You asking for it"?
I said "$400".,..He asked if I would be willing to trade with cash for whatever was left.
I said what you have you are wanting to trade,..
He showed me some other shotguns,..I wasnt interested,..I told him I was looking for either a semi-auto Remington 12 ga or a 12 ga Bolt action.

His friend showed up with a Bolt action 12 ga Mossberg Model 695 with a rifled deer barrel and tasco red dot scope, sling, and dble gun case.
I ended up with all that and $125 to boot.

I then later also got another single shot .410 ga,..for my son and it didnt cost me anything in the end.

See in the case was another scope a Red Dot BSA with brand new rings that went for $24.99 at Dicks Sporting goods,..and the BSA RED DOT scope was $79.00 at Vances Shooters supply.
I got back my $95 for the single shot and then some.

So I had a purty good Swappers Day,..

Hope e1 had a SAFE and WONDERFUL LABOR DAY WEEKEND !!!!

So that was you with the boxed up Browning? Walked past when you were showing it to someone. I didn't buy much at the meet. But there was a lot of stuff there. Guy I know from Md was supposed to be there but I didn't see him. He was looking for a rabbit dog er sumthin? Bought a few small things for presents for friends. Didn't wee any real bargains on guns. Think bargains on guns are done now.

lolol,...
Well I dont know if I was the only one carring a Browning in a box,..But I was one of them,...lol !

As for deals on guns,..I saw alot ,..but not as many as NOT TOO good deals.

I personally feel that if you find what your looking for and dont pay a whole "nest egg" for it,..and finally your happy with it,..then u FOUND a deal.

I see alot of people looking for those high end guns and bows,Frankly I just cant afford them.SoI try to stay within the Free to $450 range.I have had many guns worth more then $450,and traded them,..and ihave kept and still have cheapOs,..I feel they do the same job and are no going to break my bank if they break or get wet etc.

Well all Deer season (Archery),starts here on Sept 29th.
Jst counting the days,...
