Actually those listed are really in different classes, but I use Swaro, Zeiss, Schmidt & Bender on hunting rifles and Leupold on daytime hunting rifles, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Have, Leupold, Bushnell Elite, Seeadler (middle German brand), Nikon.

Used to have Burris Fullfield (excellent) but traded for Leupold, had a Denver Redfield (also a good scope) for a Leupold and a bit 'o cash)...right now a VX-II is on my .308

With the exception of the Elite 3200, Nikon and one of the Leupolds, my other 3 scopes are german #1 post (YOO-HOO!)

I find your question alittle odd. Asking about 2 low end scopes and 1 very high end scope. I personally have Leupold scopes on about every thing. Rifles, and handguns in both rimfire and center fire and also shotguns and muzzle loaders. I have them from 2X to 36X. I still have 4 or 5 scopes around that are not Leupold, but they are all for sale.

I find it odd also. We are comparing a Lamborghinni, a VW Beetle and a Whizzer Motor Bike here. Hope I don't give away my age with the motor bike comment.

Being that I mainly am a varmint hunter I have recently gone to Nikon Buckmasters side focus mil dots. They do everything I expect of them and more. I also have Burris Signature on my long range 308 and a Sightron 6x24 on a 243 Ackley. Both are top notch in my book.

With the 308 I can shoot 7" groups at 1k. Thats about as good as I can shoot on a still day. My eyes and Jitters aren't what they used to be.

IF I were to go for a top of the line scope it would be a U.S. Optics or a Nightforce. But living within my needs and on a fixed income it will be awhile for one of those.

Best wishes, Bill

Hmmm...

Bushnell banner & trophy series
Simmons Aetec
Burris Fullfield II (the best of the bunch by a lot).
A BSA mil-dot on a .22-250 (replacement - trashed the first one with a 7 mag).
An OLD redfield wide-angle scope

out of the lower priced scopes, I'd opt for the bushnell banner series, although the burris fullfields, and nikon buckmasters are great scopes for the price (my brother has the nikon). JMHO
