Hunting continues to be excellent in most parts of Africa. However, there have been a few cases where Outfits failed at completing their hunts due to fuel shortages, vehicle problems, food, or should I say the lack of and so on. Most happened in Tanzania. However, other than the serious rate hike, Tanzania continues to offer good hunting. Zimbabwe is producing some fine trophies, and is the place for value on dangerous game. Recently returning hunters have taken some excellent Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, Lion and numerous plains game. It still remains a quality area to hunt. Botswana is experiencing a drought and many of its animals are crossing over into surrounding countries to find water. South Africa produced some outstanding record book trophies this year and sports the highest number of species available for hunting. Namibia was very dry and hot with numberous Puff Adder encounters this year but they produced some good trophies. Clients are booking heavy into South Africa for next year due to the good deals and many of the Tanzania hunters are looking elsewhere, refusing to pay the increased hunting fees. Good hunting, grayghost
