I just wanted to show everyone my hiking/camping /ATV riding rifle I picked up. It is a Kel-Tec sub 2000 in 9mm. No it is not a long range sniper hunting rifle, it has it’s special purpose and I believe it does it’s intended job nicely. It seems better than one of those 22 survival rifles and certainly is ready for business a lot quicker. I also picked up a 30 round magazine. It takes Glock Magazines. (No I din't pay the list price)
:p
I can't get my picture to post so here is the link to Kel-Tec's info

That should be a handy little piece for around the camp site to collect camp meat.
At that length and weight it could probably serve for home defense also.
Thats a nice "little" gun.
Best wishes, Bill

I took it out the first time for a good blasting session, and this will rock and roll with the 30 round magazine. This time I took it out to see how accurate it was,,,, and it was surprisingly accurate. The sights seem cheesy (with extra cheese) but I’ll be darn if the bullets didn’t hit exactly where I pointed it. It’s not a squirrel hunter but it could hit a coyote at 100 yards. I wouldn’t recommend it for hunting but it is an impressive defense gun. They sell a bunch of accessories for this rifle. I think a scope and other junk would just defeat the purpose of this weapon. In my case I will carry it on the front rack of my ATV. My biggest fear in the forest is still the 2 legged vermin .
