The big event this week was my elder daughter's wedding. She got hitched to a nice guy and is now on her way to Rome for their honeymoon. The ceremony took place Sunday afternoon at a former hunting lodge high up in a canyon near Salt Lake City.
On Saturday a cold front dropped three inches of snow and also dropped temps to 28 at the lodge. Her rehearsal was wedged between two OUTDOOR weddings on Saturday - which must have been miserable affairs. My Regina's wedding was to clear blue skies and chilly but bearable temps. We cut the patio dinner a bit short at 9:30 pm when temps dropped to near freezing, but that was the only hiccup. Yup, I'm proud and happy.
My OTHER good news was that my first book, Baggy Zero Four has just been selected as a supplementary textbook in the History Department at Appalachian State U - and they're reviewing my second book for similar status. Yeeeehaw!
