Last summer we had to replace two gas cans. Went looking for the good metal type with flexible nozzle. Couldn't find any.
I must be behind the times. Thanks to california my state went CARB-compliant.
Ended up buying this type cause we had to: http://www2.northerntool.com/product/200080174.htm
What fathead dreamed this up?
More gas has been spilled on the mower with this stupid nozzle than in all the years I've used the older model can.

So now when I fill up my vehicle, you need a funnel. Then you have to pull back on the nozzle and try to keep the gas off your bits and pieces at the same time.
Anyone know where you can find the older style can?

they use to have nozzles to fit them. If you call them they still might.

I'm with you guys. The idiot who thought up these gas cans should be shot...twice!!! I've spilled and wasted more gas in the past year with one of these than in my entire life with an old "unsafe" can

I agree..the new ones are a fire hazard. Spilled more on hot motors than wish to....how do we get them taken off the market?....back to the old type?
