Click on this link, once it loads scroll down to the 7-30 Waters. Click on the 120 gr. Hornady bullet. You will find what you need there.

I'm shooting the 7mm International Rimmed, which is the wildcat version of the Waters, with the same bullet using 38 gr of W 748. The Waters case is just a tad bigger. I'm (educated) guessing it'll hold about 1 grain more. As always, cut back on powder about 5% and work up.

Don't have my loading info here in front of me but that sounds a bit hot for a Waters. What bullet do you work with ?
My Waters really shoots Speer BTSP 130 gr. well.

I have a super 16 and 35gr.748 with 130 Speer Flat Nose cci250 primer rifle section of manual 13 and double checked with Speer is about as hot as I want to shoot. Pretty good recoil. To fire form A sierra 100gr. hp touching the lands and Minimum load of IMR 3031 30gr makes for some good tack driving and easy on the hand shooting. I do load From the rifle section as the best factory ammo from federal is loaded for rifles and they shoot very well from this pistol but Bullets don't preform very well on deer. I'm no expert but Me personally would not like the recoil of 38gr of the 748.
