Benelli Comfort Tech Stock extension

If you are like me, the Benelli Comfort Tech stock (with chevrons) is way to short at its maximum LOP of 14 3/8 inches. My LOP is 15 1/8 as an example. Benelli no longer makes an extension. I understand that their first attempt was not a sucess. In reading the forum pages on the Benelli site I found a product made by All Sport Tech that several folks swear is the answer, a 1/8 inch thick aluminum plate that is threaded and fits inside the stock butt recess. The plate allows for LOP extension and adjustment of pitch, while allowing you to attach any recoil pad you wish onto the stock by screwing the pad onto the plate. Best news is I found the plates at Brownell's for $25 retail.
