Aw man am I in debt after the move!

The biggest problem I am having is the small stuff turning large. The utilities are expensive, for "Billy-Ray-Bob" Oklahoma, I am told, that is normal to get everything more expensive than the city residents. One friend at work told me they charge more in the sticks because to maintain it cost more for PSO and OG&E. If they charge us more in the boonies, why are we the last ones to get turned back on after power losses?

AT&T keeps telling me when I call they will 'correct' my phone bills. The offered me a package deal, CABLE/DSL/PHONE (with unlimited long distance) for $70 a month plus tax...................My first bill was $170, not including the $90 deposit I gave them, and a bill I got in the mail Friday for $89.99(not including tax)! (and they re-neged the cable, saying it's not avliable in my area).

When I first signed up for city utility/trash, they told me my average bill should be $60 minus tax and fees, my bill for the first month, yet again not including the $75 deposit, was $72, they really had $12 service charge, for what I don't know. When I asked the woman in city hall, she said it was one of the cheapest utility bills in the city. And the MINIMUM allowable charge (by city charter) was $65.................so much for the $60 quote.

I have mentioned to y'all when I was in Germany, my only addiction is TV, so I got basic-basic cable, 40 channels for an intro rate of $20 for first 3 months. $40 after that, for the same 40 channels (but about 6 of them are home shopping)......my family in the metro type areas, have PHONE/DSL/CABLE with about eighty channles all for $60.

But what I am trying to 'vent' here, is after the small bills, which are adding up, and the cost of living, I am afraid I will be going back to Germany if things don't pick up. I still owe people money (even one of us here), haven't paied off my flight yet, and send money home to the wife and kiddies.......................I can't afford to see a doctor, I have insurance, but can't really afford the co-pays so I go to the VA, who really don't seem to interested.

If this is me alone...............HOW DO ALL OF YOU WITH FAMILIES SURVUVE????? I am having a tough time alone, and I only eat once or twice a day (old army habit, not poverty) shower once a day, NEVER run my dish washer, the and utilities are killing me. Most of you have kids who eat 3 times a day, wives who need to use dish washers, because of the house load of work they have to do, all of this not counting gas food and other cost.

Okay, steam all vented, thanks for reading, now you can reply what a wimp I am:D

Sewer bills here is 35 bucks a month. That's over a dollar a day. Plus toilet paper.

Everything is about the money.
