That is T-shirt weather compared to what we just went through...
Daytime highs were around -30C (-22C) and the windchills were around -46 (-51F)!!!
Thank god it is finally warming up.. we are expecting -11C (12F) today for highs. But expecting 2" of snow tomorrow.

I don't really mind the cold, it's that dad gum wind that bothers me. The wind just makes it down right unbearable.
I can adapt much better to the cold than I can to heat. I am not a warm weather fan at all. When it's over 70° I'm miserable. Now if I could find a place where it's never under 50° or over 68° I'd be a happy camper.

It is between -5 and - 10 here 4 miles from Lake Michigan right now. I haven't looked but it must be clear out tonite.
What the heck happened to the warming effect of the lake. I haven't checked the wind direction but it must be out of the east.
Usually when it is this cold down here it is warm in comparison in Ak but that is not so now.
I'm abnormal, anything over 70 and I'm miserable. Can't say I like it -20 below zero either, but anywhere between 0 and 60 is fine by me. The humidity has a lot to do with it, I sweat just thinking about mowing the lawn at 70 with 90% humidity.
One thing that is miserable is throw a stiff wind in the equation, not matter what the temp.
Man, we were so glad in Michigan when summer fell on 4th of July weekend ;) Growing up with 4 real seasons I can't bear to think about living where it's regularly over 70 degrees for any length of time, Waidmannsheil, Dom.
