Last Monday night at the local gun club meeting there was a swap meet after the brief business meeting.
I took some excess stuff and got my asking price. Just before I left, I noticed a fellow had a .50 Caliber T/C Hawken flintlock for sale. No one seemed interested in a flinter that was in excellent condition. I looked the gun over and it came home with me. I admit I like flinters very much.
I also got two nice powder horns, a lovely leather possibles bag and some English flints. I like gathering stuff and also like swappig or selling stuff with my friends at the local club.
These are the Good Old Days.
