Val

Easy girl, easy.

You know, they might be back logged right now because of a rush before the election.

The same rush is on for reloading supplies. One stop shopping is impossible now a days, and the prices are out of sight.

Hang in there kid.

Best wishes, Bill

Hey Val, Great, ya got er done huh.... it is quite normal for the state of sunshine and cofusion to take 6 weeks or more to issue a permit or license. Just ignore the time and be patient and it will happen.....:)

I know you guys know me....I dont have the time to let things pass, I had over 1000 death threats from that altercation, that law enforcement and I had other opinions over. If I had ever a need to carry on my body, I need it now...dont take me wrong, but the state put me on every sex offender radar in at least 4 states..and gave them a hard on to boot.....I aint freaked out or nothing, dont take this wrong, I am strong, I am diligent.. but I need a permit and I need it now.......Val

Val baby you say you aren't afraid. Well you damn sure better be scared. There is nothing wrong with being afraid. But you have to know how to manage it to your advantage. Don't be naive.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being afraid. It's perfectly normal. It makes our minds sharper and keener and makes our bodies and wills stronger.

So don't tell this ol' boy you aren't afraid. I know better, I didn't spend 3 years in a combat situation and not know better. If you are not afraid you are stupid and I know you a lot better than that. Like I said before I'd be glad to share a fox hole with ya. You got (O) (O)'s. If you were prior Air Force you would know the significance of double Zeros.

Hang in there kid, stay alert and stay alive.

Best wishes, Bill

It has to do with Aircraft Serial Numbers.

56-0075 would be known as Balls seven five. The 56 desiginates the year of production and was usualy followed the number of aircraft produced in numerical order.

At the end of a years production the #'s would start 001 again.

I only worked on three aircraft that had production numbers in more than one year. They were the F-100, F-4 and the F-106.

To the point Double Zeros are Balls in AF lingo.

Best wishes, Bill

Val,
I did not know you were getting threats.

You might consider asking a permit holder to escort you, until your permit comes in. I would do this for you, but at 14 hours, the drive is a bit much. Around here if you needed help, I am sure a retired GI would be more than willing to ride along with you on your daily trips, for a while. Go by the local gun shop and ask if they know a mature person that might help you for a short time.

Nothing wrong with too much testosterone. Who wants to be associated with a dish rag?

Theres too many Casper Milquetoasts in the world anyway. You should remember who Casper was.

Val, once you get it, I predict it won't be long till you realize it is not a crutch, just another tool...like a hammer. CCW will never take the place of thinking ahead of a situation! Just always think ahead of what you are going into!JMO

Thanks Dan, I have been armed for years it was as natural to me as wearing "high heels":p my guns were always a natural extension of my arm. Its the police I am in more fear from at this point. 10 police officers on site the day of my arrest...didnt seem any of them agreed on the right to carry law. I just cant afford their ignorance and potential bad moods. My experience taught me that police down here, dont want anyone armed other than themselves...I know its different in other parts of the country, hell if Nulle was around that day, I wouldnt have had this problem..

In the interim, have you considered something like a 300K stun gun? They make em that resemble a cell phone...it'll fry a pacemaker...LOL Modern day LEO's are trained that there is only
black n white......no grey. They took the thinking out of the job years ago!!!JMO....lotta good ole guard still around but they are all retiring!!

Hey everyone...came in the mail last week....I feel so much better....couldnt believe it took this long, but that might be an indicator of how many people are applying...

There is a hoopla here about employers having the right to tell an employee that they may not carry even in their cars......you know how I feel about that...;)

Val,
Glad to hear you have received your permit.

The state rep (Peaden) from Okaloosa County, where I live, is the sponsor of the bill to eliminate the right of employers to limit the effect of the CWP issued by the state.
Best,
Ed

You Hound Dog, and you didn't tell us? ;)

I worry about stuff like that.

Been reading on the net about the ongoing fight about the employers. That has the same effect as the CCW. Remember all the bloodshed they predicted when the CCW law was inacted?. Never happened.

If a dis-gruntled employee decides to shoot up his pals and place of employment he will do so whether the employer has a rule or not.

Glad you got the permit, now just include in your nighty-night prayers a clause saying you hope you never have to use it.

Best wishes, Bill
