It seemed appropriate to have rabbit on Easter. I was voted down and even net with a few that had a look of terror on their faces. Hey !
This is rabbit not the Easter Bunny. Sure seemed like a good idea,,,,, to me ??? Ham it is.

We had lamb, and it was delicious.

I don't even think I could condone serving rabbit on Easter.

We had rabbit the last Sunday in Feb. just before the season ended. I roasted it in an oven bag with the seasoning it comes with to cook chicken. It was very good.

I don't doubt that rabbit is good. We cooked some up back in October/November. Just don't want to serve it to my 11 month old daughter on Easter after she got a stuffed bunny for her first Easter. Probably wouldn't serve it to any of my children on Easter until they are well into their teens. Actually, I see no reason to serve it on Easter at all. I think I'll stick with a leg of lamb for Easter, turkey for Thanksgiving, and ham for Christmas. We can mix things up the remaining 363 days of the year.

Hey, tell 'em it's chicked fried steak. Used to work with my kids. They really got to liken' that chicken fried steak and onions; really it was beef liver.

Made some Borscht once, had corn, beets, carrots green beans, taters lots of beef. They started picken', I don't like corn, I don't like beans, I don't like carrots, so in all my infinite patience I got up from the table, picked up the soup tureen and poured it in the blender and brought it back to the table. They didn't pick no mo'.

I'm a devious little bugger.

Best wishes, Bill ;)
