CITES permits....know before you go

Currently, there are no trophy exports leaving Zimbabwe due to their slow response to the USF&W's criteria on a new CITES permit. Zim hasn't moved fast enough so any trophy shipments leaving without the proper permit will be seized upon arrival in the US. What does that mean to you? Your trophies may be destroyed or sent back to Zim for the proper permit. It's all in the wording. Zim is attempting to rectify this but expect a delay of two months or more. Check before you have anything exported from Zim.
