Not a bird thing but I told Billy I would try and post this pic of the lion we had in Sturgis last week for a few days.

The pic is too small to see what kind of lion. Are we talking mountain lion, or African lion. It looks to be too thick to be a mountain lion.

Mountain Lion the average has been 85 to 90# and I would guess this one is well into the 90# class

I'm just waiting for the first wolf to show up in the Black Hills. They had a hard time reading the signs at Yellowstone and I think it's a matter of time before a pair shows up in the Black Hills.

Nulle, One of your cats spent time in southern Wisconsin in March. DNA identified it as from South Dakota. Anyway it may have been shot near Chicago. DNA tests not back yet. Teach them where the borders are or will start sending you woves.

There was already a wolf hit on I-90 between Rapid City and Sturgis a few years ago and it is not uncommon for sightings of wolfs in Harding County north of us. At present time I have one hybred in my Shelter that we got a year back that was chasing deer. It is a magnificent animal but only two of us can handle it.
The wolf dog is not mean just scared of all other people at present.
