My youngest and i went fishing last weekend. She slayed the limit in less then an hour. She had a blast. I got my limit too, so i had a pretty good time too. Now they are getting smoked by a buddy of mine. By next weekend we'll be having some!

Awesome man! Sounds like the fishing is pretty darn good! One of my brothers has been catching a few trout back home, but not that many and not that nice...:D Great job!

That's great. Any fishing with kids is a great time, especially if they're catching fish. There are a couple lakes around here I used to take my boys to all the time cuz they could catch bluegill by the bucket-full so they didn't get bored too quick. Looks like the 2 of you had a good time.

Great pic Jonesy, and I'm happy to see you posting.

I truly hope that my daughter likes the outdoors when she gets older. I'd rather sit on the side of a stream than in a ballet studio.

Fabs, I do both with my girls (as a SPECTATOR in the ballet studio, that is). Girls are great that way: They can do girly things like ballet, and they can fish and hunt like mine. In fact, in addition to ballet, music, and art, both of my girls have started archery, and my older daughter wants to start skeet!

Thats a load of fish for a youngin'.

Shes gonna be an engineer when she grows up. Notice the way she uses the rope and her left hand to support the right hand.

Smart kid.

Don't tell me you caught those fish in Rapid Creek either.

I could spend a lifetime in "the Hills" and never satisfy my lust of seeing things and hunting and fishing.

Of all the places I've been, I love "the Hills" the most.

Take good care of that youngin' or I'll knock the stuffins out ya.

Best wishes, Bill

Thanks guys, she is a smart one. She tests a year and a half a head of the other kids in her class. Need to get out again soon, we'd be hiking, camping, hunting and fishing every moment if it was up to her. Some may say she's too young, but she has her own .410 and .22. She does very well with them and is very responsible, no complaints from dad. Oh yeah, she's a shed antler hunting machine, she found around 30 herself this spring.

Yeah, can't say enough about how happy I am to have the custody of my kids. My oldest graduates this weekend, so just my little one here and me left at home soon. She's tough as nails!

Hey Nulle, you need to stop by the new house in Sturgis one of these days if you can catch me. Kids, work, hiking, camping and fishing has me all over. It's already crazy for the kids and I, but we're having fun! Oh yeah, take it easy on my sister, she said she talked to you about her meathead of a worthless dog. Don't tell her I said that buddy!

Those are some nice fish and I have been at Orman a few times but with the high water comeing in it will be awhile before things pick up again I think. The fish have a ton of food right now.
I get by your place about everyday on my way for high octain coffee in the AM.
