I'm sure most have seen the story about the 150 pound male cougar shot by police in a near north suburb of chicago a month or so ago.
My dad still lives on whats left of our farm in the south suburbs and he related a side note to this story to me.
An animal rights group (not sure wich one) outraged about the killing tried to firebomb one of Richy Daley's houses the genius's bunrt some poor guys home who lived next door.

Has anyone heard or seen anything more about this dad cant recall where he saw the story (comes with being 73 i guess) and I was wondering if there were more details.

Welcome aboard Bret,

If memory serves correctly I belive what was targeted by the animal rights group was Daley's summer residence in Michigan. What actually got torched down to the ground was some well known designers posh pad next door.

Damn shame that these address challenged whack-jobs got the wrong house on the wrong day with Da Mayor away...probably in Chicago delivering another foaming at the mouth anti-Second Amendment speeches defending the rising crime rate in a city where handguns are banned.
