Hey has anyone loaded any for a 270 win? How do you like them and howed they perform?

Just a heads up, but with a bullet that long I would expect you would need a faster twist than normal to stablize them.

This is the finest bullet I have ever used in the 270 Win. I had no problem stabilizing it in a 1-10 twist. I generally get 2900 to 3000 fps with H 4831.
Took it to Africa a couple years ago and took 11 animals with it. It out performed even the 150 Nosler Partition.
Try some 130 TSX too, as I have another rifle that likes those better.

standerd twist will usualy stabalize all barns bullets in most all calibers. exscept 22.
ive loaded barns tipped triple shocks 110 gr in my 270 with great paper killing results. all ive done with the load is shoot paper but id trust the load up to elk in a pinch.

i think the partion is good bullet but the accubond is filling its shoes much better and with flatter faster tragectories.
bullets today are a step above the partition core lokt style bullets of yesterday. thats in all areas.
partition core lokt style bullets still are very good and do for 90% of hunting everywhere

Highly suggest if your after heavy game.....the 140gr TSX or WW Superme Elite XP 150gr factory load. If not the 130 or 140 Accubond would be excellent with H4831 or Reloader 22.
