Who exactly is the original poster on a thread? If it is the thread starter, then the Sarah Palin Thread was closed at the moderators request and not my own, not that I mind it being closed, there was no activity on it for several days and had I think made its point.
If it is the first guy to answer the post, then I'm supposing anyone can close a thread?
Now can anyone make mistakes? Of course, and probably the thread that was meant to be closed was Pot Hunter not Sarah Palin.
Aloha,

Hi rattus58,
Instead of posting a general question to the HC membership, you would probably receive a more timely answer to your question by sending an email or PM to the moderator of this forum who closed that thread. :)

I don't doubt that for a minute... :D..
How do you find the administrator to do that?

Rattus, you PM'ed me and asked me to "close that thread (you) started".
You didn't say WHICH thread, so I closed the first one I found that you had started.

Hi Rocky,
I have actually not PM you or anyone else about closing anything. I don't even know how to contact you.

Rattus,
To answer your initial question, the original poster or OP for short, is the person that starts the thread. It would be the person that clicked on "New Thread" entered a subject line, and actually started the thread.
If it wasn't you that sent Rocky a PM requesting the thread be closed, I'm sure somebody else did.

Hi rattus58, here is the link to Petey the board owner: http://www.huntchat.com/member.php?action=getinfo&userid=8694
The moderator of this forum (AAG) is Rocky (who is also a board admin). Here is the link to his info: http://www.huntchat.com/member.php?action=getinfo&userid=8693
Those pages are accessed by clicking on their usernames.
On those pages you can click on PM or email to contact them.
Most forums have moderator(s).
They are listed to the far right of each listed forum on the Index page under the moderator column: http://www.huntchat.com/index.php?
If you have any questions feel free to contact Petey, Rocky or myself.

I apologize. I did get a PM asking me to close a thread, and in the process of doing several things I confused myself as to who sent the PM.
I'll re-open the thread I closed.
