Oreilly is an idiot, is full of himself, doesn't hardly EVER have his facts straight, doesn't understand the economy or how it works, and as much as I can't stand that fat f****t, he showed much more decorum than did oreilly who when he cannot find an answer he starts yelling and spitting at people.... Great thread! O'Reilly has it right from the get-go. If you watch the tape, Barney Frank said "All is well" with Frannie and Freddy. Then Frank tries to back peddle.

If anyone dislikes O'Reilly, then turn off the TV or change the channel. Duh!

Hi Skinny... you didn't read my post very well.... I think Barney Franks ought to be in Jail personally, along with everyone else on those banking committees. Barney Franks for years, even though not in power, was vociferously extolling the virtues of their corrupt systemics with Fannie and Freddie.

My Rant was against O'Reilly when he gets himself into a bind and whenever anyone questions his "authority" he goes off the tracks. He's also quite misinformed on a lot of topics or if he IS INFORMED he doesn't challenge folks when they make misleading statements.

Bill O'Reilly might be the number one news program, but he along with Sean Hannity and Alan Combs get stuck in these one minded ruts that don't show any mental nimbleness, regardless of their messages.

O'Reilly makes me laugh, he's so full of himself talking to folks about "Well you never came here... you never came to MY SHOW to complain... Blah Blah Blah... etc....

I watch O'Reilly almost daily.... but he can be a buffoon and doesn't challenge... Palin last night had a wonderful opportunity to challenge Biden on Global Warming... and didn't.... Biden said global warming was STRICTLY MAN MADE.... What an idiot.

First off, we are cooler than wer were 10 years ago. Two, Solar conditions are what heat the earth... not carbon dioxide... less than .2% of the atmosphere.... She should have just nailed him with the suns role in global warming and should have gone deeper other than her calm statement that we have cyclical warming and cooling cycles... which she got right.

As for the statement that one should just turn off O'Reilly.... yes, that is the simple way out... the other is to evaluate what he says and measure it, not just swallow it, like it looks many do, and I was also referring to his demeanor.... he's gonna have a stroke someday.... poor fella...

Hi rattus58, so you understand, the response in your first post was 5x5.
You started with a rant on O'Reilly.
Somewhere in the middle during one breath you called Franks a demeaning name (asterisks or not) and then actually complimented him on his decorum which leaves the reader confused that you now want him in jail.
Then you ended with a rant on O'Reilly.
O'Reilly must really push your button and thats ok. It can happen to any of us.

I posted the vid not to extol O'Reilly but to show the probable frustration level of many American's including myself at this situation. :)

The reason people don't like O'Reilly is because he doesn't put out politicaly correct crap, but says it like it is! That is certainly something that can't be said of Barney Franks, or Barak Obama!

Personally I can't stand either one of those guys.

O'Riley offended me when he described himself as a "Combat vet" on his radio show. He was a war correspondent in South America, hardly the same.

And ALL THE SO CALLED MODERN REPORTERS, (and I mean ALL OF THEM!!!!!) are money grubbers who want the spotlight.

Giving your views is not giving the news, from O'Riley to Katie Couric, they don't give the news. I watch BBC America for my news, you get some middle ground with them as they are outsiders looking in.

O'Riley just pimps his books. If he spends all his time supposedly checking the news and facts, where does he get the time to write all those money making gems?

Yes, O'Reilly does lose it often. It would make it more interesting if he would let those a--holes answer and then rip them up. Along with Barney Queer, the folks most respnsible for the financial mess are Chris Dodd, who took money as a special loan, and Charles Schumer, who took second-hand bribes in the form of campaign contributions. Barney Frank probably too it in both ends; campaign contributions for himself and large bonuses for his queer lover in Freddie Mac. The three of them are the most responsible for the financial mess the US is in; and the unbelieveable part is that their states will elect those crooks again.
