Anyone using Moviemaker with Vista?
All the title fonts have dropshadows and are difficult to read.
Is there a way to turn off dropshadows?
Or should I find another free movie program?

Alrighty here is a link, and lemme see what others I can find. I don't use movie maker anymore (I did use it though) because customization CAN be a bear.

Also consider doing some searching around the above links forums, and if you can't find it then post the question there. I don't have my vista laptop with me at work or I would dig around some and see what else I could find for you buddy.

I wound up buying Ulead V10.0 to do videos with then found out how SLLOOOWWWWWWWW that freakin thing is. If you find a better one PLEASE let me know.

Also for easy video conversion (and a few other minor free tools) look up the Bink and Smacker proggy from Rad Video Tools.

Thanks guys.
I had posted a question in the moviemaker forums on the 7th and no one responded. there may not be a way to do it without going into custom code.

As to using other programs: I'm looking for an Obama-style handout program (read free) at this time... ;) :D

After changing to Vista 64-bit the movie-making nightmare started. Movie Maker works well with USB but can't read the Pinnacle Blue Breakout Box hooked to it's proprietary PCI card with a cable as thick as your thumb. I ended up with Pinnacle Studio-12 (+-$80.oo?) which does work very well (have used Pinnacle since way back at W-98!) except (Duhhhh!) it still can't read from the "Blue Breakout Box" that came with Pinnacle-9. But it does well with USB input.
Shoulda stayed with W2gPro where everything worked like it was supposed to.
