In contrast to the mega-meal and gourmet foods we'll all be enjoying tomorrow, I thought I'd pose a more basic question.
What are your favorite ways to enjoy peanut butter (or peeka bunker as one of my daughters used to say it)?
I like PB on a crisp apple. Something a bit more left field is a PB and cheddar cheese sandwich with a sprinkle of garlic powder added. Sounds very odd, tastes surprisingly good.
Yours?

That don't sound so bad. I like a couple of heaping tablespoons of chunky PB in my venison stir-fry.

Orange Marmalade PB&J samich.
My hunting lunch, 2 of those and 2 Baloney samiches with cut up radishes and scallions to munch on. Throw in some trail mix and a hot cup of coffee and I'm ready.
Best wishes, Bill

DogYeller, you have simply rediscovered how good it is to add peanuts to a meat dish. The Chinese learned it centuries ago; witness Kung Pao dishes.

That's where I got, Rocky. I like Szechuan dishes above all other chinese styles.

There's always the "Elvis."
PB, mayo, banana - and bacon. To make it healthy, put it on whole wheat toast!
OK, so it killed him. But are we not of sterner stuff?
Urrrp.

Chunky(homemade or Jif) peanut butter on a townhouse cracker with a small dab of homemade strawberry jam(frozen variety not that nasty cooked stuff). If no strawberry a little dab of homemade black raspberry jelly. In a pinch Ritz crackers will do:rolleyes: ..6 is just about right:D Can't believe it but my internet is still working.
Peanut butter and mustard sandwich. Peanut butter on one slice of bread, plain yellow mustard on the other. If you want some crunch, put lettuce in between.
Sounds disgusting, tastes surprisingly good.
