Well Tanner brought home a very loving very friendly big female (looks to be a cross between a yellow lab and a golden retriever, although her tongue is spotted) a couple months ago. At 2:30 this morning she started having pups. Counted 7 this morning at 7am when I left the house. Will post pics when I can.

My grandmother moved her back onto her favorite pillow on the porch yesterday just before it started raining. We put a few boards up to help block the wind a little more for the pups. You cannot see the pups REAL well here but you can glimpse a couple of them. One of them for some reason ALWAYS feeds while laying on its back.

You betcha, and as soon as I can get better pics. Right now she will only leave them if my grandmother is on the porch. With me she ducks her head and averts her eyes alot, and with the wife she just thumps her tail. If tanner gets too close then she growls hard enough to make the pups whimper.

Well of the seven I have seen one grey, one black, three yellow, and two white ones. Got a good look at the white ones last night and the look suspiciously like a neighbors fox terrier/chiqauqau mix that has been hanging around. The black one looks almost identical to tanner, and the yellows look like their momma. The grey one is kinda up in the air at this point. Dunno what #8 looks like. Mommadog will only leave the bed when my grandmother is out there by herself, and at this point she is the only one allowed to pick up the pups. With me she let me inspect the pups up close so long as I didn't try to touch them.

This was last week after she was getting a little less shy with them. Still don't have them all in the picture.

One day shy of one month old. . . . boy how they grow. They tend to congregate around my Wife's feet any time we pull them off of the porch to clean their bedding area.
