He did his part to set back race relations in this country about 15 years. Why can he get away with this?

I don't even have to watch the video because I know exactly what you are talking about. Something about black, brown, red, yellow, and white embracing what is right. Yep, the other 4 colors already embrace what is right, and I forget if it was black or brown that is already giving back too much. I commented to my parents about it right after the words came out of his mouth.

Don't get me wrong, it was a creative ryhme and it was worth a good laugh if it wasn't so insulting. I am hoping that it was beyond this guy's creative capability and that it was just something that he heard 40 or 50 years ago, it stuck with him, and he decided to use it. I wonder what would have happened if a white man got up there and said "In time, white will not have to give back anymore and black will embrace what is right".

A better use of it would have been "We have finally reached the day where black no longer has to give back, brown..., yellow,,,m red..., and white has embraced what is right." That would have been an awesome speech. Not everybody can be like Lincoln, JFK, FDR, etc.
