Ok guys,
The fight has started, the assault weapons ban has been targeted for re-instatement and made permanent, email your congressman and senatorshere's a couple links to find them, write them if you can, emails can easily be deleted and are not as personal

This is the O K Corral for free gun ownership in this country the way our founding fathers planned it
We hafta win this one, for the sake of the generations to follow. This liberalism is to us and our culture,
just legal terrorism, it'll never go away.

if they can pass law to make things permanent why has it never been made that way otherwise?...I don't see anything being permanent.

The original AWB was a temporary trial that was to be voted on later as a permenant measure. Bush and congress ignored the ban when the original bill expired, and didn`t vote to renew it.

If you think nothing seems to be permenate look at the 1968 handgun laws or short barreled shotgun rules. When it comes to firearms the laws don`t change once they`re in place except maybe to get worse......

Ridge Runner, You post is relevent, but does speak to the problem. If you have to tell people who their elected represtatives are; they are the problem. My rep was voted for by me and she already knows how Wyoming wants her to fight and vote on this subject. I have already been in contact with our two senators and they know the drill for Wyoming.

skinny, don't think its came up yet but Barrack mentioned to the press his second day in office that re-instating the clinton AWB and making it permanant is on the adgenda, they're also trying to push the ammo accountability act through 18 states right now, the lead free in a few.
Its a full scale assault on gun ownership, and gun owners and enthusiests need to address it.

Larry, the links were posted to make it easier for folks to contact the right people to voice they're opinions and concerns.
