About the 28th of December, 2008 a 22 yr old who'd been partying his butt off, was allowed to drive "home" by his "friends". Due to his drunken state, 3x the legal limit in Colorado, he accidentally ended up 1 block off. Right house number, wrong street! He attempted to get into the house through the front door waking the homes occupant's. When he didn't succeed going through the front, he went around back to try. Occupants shouted warnings and dialed 911. They were on the phone with 911 when the guy broke the window and attempted to unlock the door by reaching through. He received 3 rnds from a .38 for his trouble about the time the police rolled up in front. Occupant didn't have charges filed against him.
Another great reason why friends shouldn't let friends drive drunk!
Colorado Springs Gazette has article and link for 911 call if you're interested.
