Handgun recall

My wife asked this morning if I heard about a handgun recall. Seems some handgun which was made betweeen 03 and 06 will go off just because. I know Just Because. Anyway wondering if anyone knows anything about this. I do know the new Ruger has a recall for the trigger assembly but don't think it started production until 08 or so.
