Shingles Vaccine...finally got our turn !

Finally got the call from our doctor’s office this afternoon…said their latest shipment of Shingles Vaccine had arrived, that my Wife and I were in the next group on the waiting list, could we come today?

Sure didn’t want to have to reschedule and go back on a waiting list and we were each within 20 minutes of the doctors office so we met there and got our shots...paperwork took more time than anything of course…seems like we were on that waiting list for a couple of months or so, but its now crossed off the to-do list...

roundball didn't realize they had a vaccine for shingles. I Would like to get one for my wife and myself. Both my mom and my brother have had the shingles, and that is one thing I do not want to go through.

And your odds skyrocket if you've ever had chicken-pox...there's a lot of info available on the Internet...google up "Shingles"...you'll want to RUN to your doctor's office...
