AB962 if passed will make it illegal to transfer more than 50 rounds of handgun ammo per month without special licensing/fees/ID.

it goes to the floor the 6th of this month.

better write your "representatives"...

At $60/fifty rounds (at least that is the going price around here for standard 9mm), you can tell the California legislators that they have nothing to fear....no one can afford more than a box at a time, unless they take out a 2nd mortgage on the house, which is worthless......

Then again, maybe they ought to start fearing all those people who are stockpiling because they fear their goverment?

that would be between persons, just have the customers get a tax number and xfer all you want to their business, it would also be a writeoff for them if they have a creative accountant....

How would they even know if two people transfer ammo between each other? For example, if I came to your house with a few boxes adn simply gave them to you...unless I was on camera of something, who would know? Are they going to raid peoples houses looking for receipts?

Sometimes the government needs to think for a minute before they come up with such stupid legislation. Although, with some politicians, even if they thought about it for a year they still would not "get it".

from what i've read in "alerts" from NRA-ILA and CCKBA the bill is going to the assembly floor this next week.

one of the most alarming parts of this piece of legislation it prohibits purchasing ammo via mail, too...

i wrote nearly every member of the 'committee' and at least three of my emails were returned to me as "deleted without being opened".

we MUST keep a close eye on legislators...they will totally shut down ALL firearms activities if WE allow them to.
