The ole goat inherited another one......wife came home with a female Golden yesterday. Name is Domingo. Don't know how well it's gonna hunt but it is the most mello hound I've seen..5 years old. Came from a friend of hers that split the sheets n she got the dog.

Great to hear that you got a Golden. I'm assuming that it is a Golden Retriever. I had a girlfriend/fiance at one time that had 3 of them. Really mellow dogs until they saw me get out the camo. Then they went crazy.

What I don't understand is why she would have taken the dog in a divorce if her ex wanted it, and then give it to you. This is why I don't do divorces where child custody is an issue, because I might end up killing one of the parties.

Fabs, this divorce was over a year ago....don't care about the details!...I think she could not take care of it. This thing has been by my side where ever I go...no kidding,....( call me nuts)...had a talk with Mac...the Lab I had for so long...Mac approves of her. (he was the one you guys were so supportive when I had to put him down)...been through a few trial n adopts,
I think we need each other!!!
If it hunts..ok...if not, I have another overgrown shadow!LOL

Upgrade...Domingo, being a female, has been changed to Dominga....answers well and has become my virtual shadow! Haven't been hunting with her yet....when I have a rifle case out, she sniffs and wags...
like it is a smell she is familiar with! I think we are gonna do fine!
