Okay,
I am living in Arizona for a while yet with some record breaking heat going on. I pack a loaded pistola everywhere I go in my vehicle. The heat inside the vehicle sometimes registers in excess of 116 to ??? I took the weapon out to check it and it was literally "too-hot-to-handle"... REALLY!!!!!
Question......What does that do anything to the cartridges? I have a friend that had some rifle shells exposed to high heat due to a fire in his home. When fired they locked the bolt on his .270. (Would hate to wear a hammer between the ears...)
So, anyone have any thoughts or experience on this subject?
Lots of solutions come to mind as Ariz, is a great state and recognizes my CCW from Colo.
Guess I just would like the thoughts of you fellers..................
