Hi Everyone!
God I have not posted here in way too long, anyways I
have aquired a Marlin 336 RC in 35 Remington and wanted
some reoading data for it. I am looking for target loads and
have 200 gr hornady RN, 150 gr Rem SP and 180 gr Speer FP
bullets to use. I also have 206 gr Hard Cast w/gas checks
bullets also. Anyone have some favorite load recipes they
would like to share? any suggestions appreciated! :)

Regards 6.5 :)

Sorry...dont have any loads to share; I haven't started loading for my .35 Remington yet. However, I've heard it said many times over that both IMR3031 & IMR 4064 are good powders for this cartridge, so I think I would start there. Good luck..........

Well my first try at reloading some 35 remington shells
turned out quite well I used two different bullets , the first
was a 200 gr Hornady RN with IMR-3031 used 37grs and
got several 1" and one 3/4 " grouping out of this load.
The other bullet was a 150 gr Remington Core Lokt SP
also using IMR-3031 with 38 grs of powder and it would
consistently group 1 ". This Marlin 336 RC is quite a shooter
not real fast but efficient! :):D

Here is one that works for me: 180 Gr. Speer Flat Point, 43 Gr. of RL-12 with a Fed 210 Primer.

You could try 38-39 gr of 4895 with the 180 Speer. I have seen the load listed for both IMR and Hogdon and it is said to shoot about .75 and runs 2,100 - 2200 fps. Just drop down a couple of grains and work up to your best accuracy load.
Best,

I have used a moderate charge of IMR4895 and 200 grain bullets. For cast bullets, I have used Unique with good results. All the best...
