Picture isn't that good but I just removed a tic from the leg. Has a circle around it about 3/4"...can anyone tell if it is a lyme bite just by the picture? The tic isn't as big as the wood tics I see most of the time but also not quite as small as a . I figured maybe it gorged itself on blood already to make tad larger.

It had changed in just the short time I went to the dr about it..it had a ring around the outside as if someone took a red pen and drew a line..then the lighter inside.then the red again..perfect bullseye thing.. and yep..started on that doxy stuff..dr said.yep looks like the critter..This tic was about 1/3 the size of the normal wood tics I deal with all the time...and figured it was full of blood by then too...Just a warning to all..is still tic season and use lots of deet and take all rest of precautions for them...I drink at least 2 tbl cider vinegar every other day and have had numbers in the hundreds on me at one time in the spring but this is the first tic that ever decided to take a bite. Guess what...for 6 months, I have stopped the cider vinegar thing...and to me is proof it works and am back on it..tks for reply.
