Ok, so I've bragged about my lovely Tasco scope alot before, but that all ends now! It has gone kaput! It wont stay adjusted and the adjustments wont stay at their 1/4MOA clicks now, sometimes its over 1/2 MOA sometimes its less than 1/4MOA. So I need a new scope, FAST! Thanks to the new coyote bounty in Sask. I've got some huntin to do. I dont have a lot of money (just like everyone else) and was wondering about these refurbished Natchez scopes that I always see advetisements for. Does anyone have any experience with them? I know they have good prices, but will the scopes last and stay sighted-in long enough to actually use? Thanks,
Minihuntur:)

First, stop and ask yourself why they are "refurbished". I've had my scopes on my rifles for decades and only a single one needed to have any type of work done on it.

Some refurbished scopes are ok..but steer clear of the refurbished BSAs...especially for a larger caliber. 17-220 Swift 243 may be ok. I do have one of the refurb Nikons and it seems to be OK. But it's on a 223. I actually sell some of the BSA refurbs at gun shows and always tell the buyer for light calibers only. Now to let you know...some of the Cabela's scopes(Pine Ridge??) are actually BSA made. I have one of their 3-12 scopes on a Remington 700 in 243. Worked fine so far.
