....with a smoke pole yet? Seems like most of the traditional/black powder seasons should be either done or under way in most states. Haven't seen anything posted here yet re: success. I didn't go deer hunting this year.....just tried for the squirrels (see previous posts). Still got a couple of months to connect with one.
....anyone been out hunting yet?

We are in our last week of the Shot Gun season. Still 3 weeks of ML and archery to go. My hunting bud hung a decent up about a month ago and we are eating off that for now. I'm going out tomorrow and a few time during ML then I'm done except for some yote hunting. Time to start thinking about a big mouth bass.

To much going on with Drs appointments trying to get some thing done to fix my back. with the amount of snow that we have over here on the snow coast of Michigan it would be nice to be able to do some still hunting looking for beded deer.
Lent my smoker to my son who is home again after being laid off at the game ranch he was the chef for in MO. The economy has caught up with them and most of the hunters that had scheduled hunts for December have canceled.
This is the first he has been home to hunt his old stomping grounds in years.

We start the traditional muzzleloader season the day after Christmas. Looks like the .54 flintlock Lyman Trade Rifle will be the rifle of choice. Take care...
