Anyone out there using Load from a Disk when developing new handloads? Software looks interesting, but does anyone know what powders the program recommends for 120 grain or 140 grain ballistic tips out of a 7mm-08? I have an ample stock of varget, win760 and re15 on hand, and I don't want to invest in the software if none of these powders are listed...
any help would be much appreciated.

I just ran it on my copy. It shows 14 powders suitable for those bullets, with all yours included.
I have an slightly older version of LFD around here somewhere. PM me your address and I'll send it to you.

Rocky,
PM sent, and your help is much appreciated. By the way, is there a problem with your "Reloading Room" webpage? I haven't been able to access any of your info lately.

The "problem" is with Internet Explorer, if that is what you are using for a browser. EVERY other browser I tested displays my pages perfectly.
I highly recommend you switch to Firefox. It is faster, better, MUCH more secure - and free.

Rocky is absolutely correct! I had the problem for months until I installed Firefox on my PC. Now I can access the Reloading Room website. Still can't do it with Windows IE.

The irony is that I used a Microsoft program to design the flipping website, and it's a Microsoft browser that refuses to read it! GRRrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Thanks for the heads up on Firefox! Downloaded and it is far superior to Internet Explore.

Rocky, thanks for the copy of LFAD. I played around with it for a while, and also downloaded the free 30 cal. version online. I may spring for the new version, as it gives quite a bit more info about the specific powders.
Thanks also for the tip on Firefox. I can finally access the Reloading Room pages again...
